TrevorSpace offers a supportive online social community for young individuals in the LGBTQ+

Community Homes providing long-term housing for adults with disabilities, including autism and cerebral palsy. Each home has 3 to 8 residents who share daily tasks and receive support from staff. The homes are set up to help residents live more independently and stay connected with others. Each person is matched with a home based on their needs, preferences, and goals.

Meals on Wheels provides single, ready-to-eat meals delivered to homebound seniors. Also includes a well-being check.

Smart Driver course offered in cooperation with the Secretary of State’s Office, to drivers who are due to renew their driver’s licenses.

Overseeing and coordinating of emergency management activities throughout the community.

Dental care services, including cleanings, exams, x-rays, tooth extractions, and oral cancer screenings.

Academic support services, including homework assistance, social and recreational activities, one-on-one tutoring, mentoring, college scholarship.

Well-being checks on registered seniors, as part of the department's SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together). The department will call seniors at pre-determined time each morning.

Cash assistance for food, clothing, housing and other basic needs while working on completing education or job training and obtaining employment.

Offers month to month senior shared housing for 7 to 9 older adults in each home, with residences located in Lombard and Naperville.

Trained service and guide dogs, including service dogs for MST, PTSD and seizure response dogs.

Provides temporary shelter from extreme cold weather conditions during listed hours of operation. Call first to confirm availability.

Provides medical equipment for residents to borrow. Equipment includes: Wheelchairs, Walkers, Canes, Crutches, Tub Transfer Benches, Commodes.

Virtual and in-person support groups for expectant and new moms, also online social media groups, including Cradle Talk, Nurturing Mom.

Provides free immigration legal services to children and families with children including survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence.

Autism therapy services including evaluations, psychiatry, medication management, counseling and school consultations. Reduced cost care provided through the Mental Health Access Program for those with limited income.

Assistance with applications to Immigration and Naturalization Services, as well as serve as interpreter for clients.

Loans books, DVDs, audio books, video games, music and tech equipment. Computers, board games, puzzles, puppets, and other resources are available for use in the library.

Provides a free cell phone and monthly minutes to eligible households.

Provides peer-based crisis support resources

Community health clinic providing medical care for the entire family and assists with health insurance enrollment. Services include (but not limited to) pediatric care, immunizations, sick care, chronic disease management, women's health care, pregnancy tests, family planning and LGBTQ health.

Free virtual group program called “Working Through Pet Loss"

Treatment from psychiatrists for a variety of mental health conditions for adults. Appointments can be made for online and in-person sessions.

Online education program that features hour-long podcasts from experts that cover a range of topics related to family caregiving

Acute, chronic and preventive care for children from birth to 21 years of age.
