Eligibility
Death must have occurred in the United States; Death certificate must indicate that death was caused by COVID-19; Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national or qualified non-citizen; The expenses must have been incurred after 1/20/2020; The deceased person does not have to be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national or qualified alien resident.
Required documents
(1) Official death certificate (2) Funeral expenses documents that include the applicant's name, the deceased person's name, the amount of funeral expenses, and the dates the funeral expenses happened.
